Are you into new year's resolutions and the pot of gold on the other side of the rainbow?

If you are going to do this - keep it really simple:

1. Write 10 goals on a piece of paper in the present tense.

2. Ask yourself if you could have 1 goal achieved right now - which would have the biggest impact?

3. Select that goal - write it on a new piece of paper and come up with some small steps to achieve it and actually do them.

I wish you all the best in the start of year push to change things for a new year.

I do personally like the idea resolutions but I am most interested in this coaching conversation at the end of January where research shows that 43% of people will have already given up on them.

What will be different this time?

How do you carry on when you're feeling overwhelmed by grief?

You feel what you are doing has no meaning.

You question your belief that progress is possible.

That you are missing the passion and confidence to build the life you want to create.

I hear you. I am processing a family bereavement and I feel stuck, lost and a mixture of numbness and deep sadness.

Here's What is Helping Me

- Respect your process. Ride the stormy emotional wave and trust it will lead you to your next breakthrough.

- Don't resist or judge yourself and be in acceptance. You are exactly where you need to be.

- Allow feelings of being lost. You can't find something new based on what you have done before. Finding your soul purpose and being lost are 2 sides of the same coin.

- Focus on the 1% marginal gains. Do 1 thing at a time. Progress in a hard time is more impactful then having everything figured out and instantly completed.

On the 21st October I am doing a workshop on how to unlock your whole hearted self.

The steps I am sharing with you in this workshop I am applying with myself right now to allow my own passion and meaning in life after this loss to re-emerge once more so I can share with all of you.

It has the potential to be transformational.

Dedication and service beyond your own identity and who you think you are in your mind is the expression of soul purpose.

It is transcendent and moves the interconnected world in which we live.

This is hitting home for me on this historical day where we sing "God Save the Queen" for the last time at the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II.

Today has, for me, moved me to feel that dedication to serve through the example of how she held herself in life.

I invite you to find you own meaning and be devoted to yourself to go deeper.

Dont regret your life and find more for all of us.

Do you wish you yourself could create and manifest your deepest purpose?

We can get so far through our thinking and analysis and it is needed but sometimes our stuckness is an invitation to go inside ourselves and feel our feeling with spaciousness and free of ego agendas to be productive or influence outcome and "create" motivation.

Tapping into the mystery of life, the place that's unexplainable by the mind. Words escape me here but whatever that place is for you, accept the invitation to go in.

Allowing yourself to go there as i have experienced this weekend is not easy. I have felt alone and stuck and internally overburdened. The sense of emptyness which is both infinitely full of potential meaning is also the same place of total emptyness and absent meaning which has felt paralysing and affected my ability to feel motivated to take action in recent days.

The takeaways to share with you are.
- Find a person who can listen to you.
- Find a place to listen to yourself without agenda.
- Don't control what you cant control. Don't explain what you can't explain.
- Allow motivation to manisfest through you rather than create and force a motivation through willpower.
- The forced motivation is your desire to influence what is not yours to influence.
