DanceA is going to be 5 in March!

Just a little snapshot of my lovely ladies over the years and our dramatic routines! 😄

Sorry I’ve missed out the Bromsgrove/ Wychbold gang but I searched photos by location 😅

I‘ll never forget all the laughs and memories of the past five years. Thank you to everyone who has ever been to my classes.

We danced through cancer and covid and we are still going. To celebrate our 5 years, this term instead of doing one routine over the term we are bringing back a different memory each week.

So for the next 5 weeks each class will be different so anyone welcome to come and join us.

Class is at Hopwood Village Hall 7pm Monday’s.

Our class is technically a dance fitness class but it is in the style of jazz and musical theatre!

Are you looking for a dance fitness class?

Have you heard of Fitsteps? It is a fitness class designed by ex Strictly pros using Latin and ballroom dance moves. Typically we learn 6-10 short routines in a class including tango, foxtrot, Cha Cha Cha and many more!

Most of our ladies danced in their youth and returned later in life and our class is perfect for people who love to dance. Complete beginners are welcome too. No partner or experience needed.

Newcomers can buy a 10 class pass for £25 meaning it’s only £2.50 per class!

We have two Fitsteps classes:

Monday evenings 8.05pm at Hopwood Village Hall.
Tuesday mornings 9.45am at Hawkesley Community Centre & Cafe

We also have another class called VIDEO Dance Fitness this class is slightly different where we learn one routine over 6 weeks which is always inspired by a musical or movie! In the past we’ve done Flashdance, Chicago and Cabaret! We occasionally have a prop in this class too 🙂

This class is

Monday mornings 9.30am at Hawkesley Community Centre & Cafe
Monday evenings 7.00pm at Hopwood Village Hall

You can try this class for £5 before deciding if you want to commit to the 6 weeks!

Thank you ladies for another dance! 🥰🕺❤️ this was a special one because it was the dance we were doing when Ted finished treatment. 🎗 From Hanky Panky to Cabaret and everything in between we kept dancing and Ted got through his treatment 🌟 our certificates were gold for Ted 💖

We are off next week for Easter 🐣 but new dance the week after!

Dance Fitness classes are back after a half term break! This Monday 28th February 2022.

Newcomers welcome! If you are in Kings Norton/ Hopwood and surrounding areas and looking for a fun, social fitness class - come and try a class with us.

We’ve danced through covid in our socially dis-danced bubble but can now expand the class and welcome more 🙂

We have two classes - VIDEO Dance Fitness is where we learn one routine over 6 weeks. Always inspired by VIDEOS we used to love. Most of the routines are 80s or musicals themed. (Last term we did Chicago 😍)

This class runs in Hawkesley at the community centre on Monday mornings at 9.30am or

Hopwood Village Hall on Monday evenings at 7pm

The other class is FitSteps - this is a Strictly FAB-U-LOUS inspired class where we learn lots of little routines using moves we love watching on Strictly. You don’t need a partner! It’s a fitness class 🙂

This class is also Hopwood Village Hall on Mondays at 8pm.

Absolute beginners welcome and all ages 16+ are welcome!

This is open to current and new families but you must attend classes in the Halesowen, Kidderminster, Stourbridge and Birmingham West Franchise area.
The competition is over both pages (Halesowen and Stourbridge Ltd & Birmingham West) the winner will be the highest number of "likes" over both pages.
The prize is non-transferable from pupil to pupil.
There is no cash alternative.
Prizes cannot be switched for alternatives. (We will of course make sure you get the correct size shoe!)

Dance fitness classes in Kings Norton and Hopwood return this Monday 6th September!

No experience necessary, complete beginners welcome! If you love Strictly, musicals and dancing around to nostalgic music videos, you'll fit in perfectly!

We have two classes,

VIDEO ® Dance Fitness - retro inspired dance fitness class where we learn one routine over 6-7 weeks inspired by videos we used to love to watch on MTV or VHS!

Fitsteps - Strictly FAB-U-LOUS inspired workout created by ex Strictly pros where we learn lots of short routines using the steps seen on Strictly but in a fitness class setting - no partner required!

Monday morning class in Kings Norton.
Monday evening class in Hopwood.
