Redpoint Climbing Centre was opened in 2008 after a long search for the perfect building to fulfill our aim of providing spectacular climbing with a friendly atmosphere in the heart of Birmingham. The wall design offers a unique three-dimensional climbing experience, using an abundance of shapes, angles and our notorious stalactites to test yourself on! Redpoint is run by a staff of keen climbers

with a vast array of experience so we should be able to accommodate most requests. Our bouldering is spread across 4 areas including Redbloc, the Bunker, Babybloc and a Training room complete with a range of finger boards and a campus board. Alongside the climbing & bouldering, our vegetarian café is a great place to relax and refuel. The on site climbing shop is run by RockOn and is fully stocked with the latest climbing equipment.

These climbs are all about making the most of the volumes, with plenty of opportunities to practise bridging, palming, and smearing your way to the top. Precision footwork and good body positioning will be key on both routes.

A fresh coat. A fresh shape. A whole new challenge. 🎨🧗

These climbing volumes have been stripped back, sanded, repaired, and finished with fresh textured paint—ready for another life on the wall.

Volumes do far more than add colour. They completely transform the geometry of a climbing wall, creating new angles, features, and movement that simply aren’t possible on a flat panel. They give our route setters a bigger canvas to work with, opening up endless possibilities for creative sequences, technical challenges, and climbs that feel brand new.

Our brand-new Yellow Circuit (V1–V2) has just landed in the bouldering area!

Designed as the perfect progression from the Purple Circuit, these problems introduce a wider variety of hold shapes and sizes, smaller footholds, and your first taste of more technical movement.

If indoor climbing has become your new obsession, it’s time to take the next step and learn to climb confidently on your own 💪

Join our 4 Week Learn to Climb Course at Redpoint Climbing Centre Birmingham and build the skills you need to climb safely, independently, and with confidence 🚀

✅ Learn how to use climbing equipment
✅ Master tying in & pre-climb safety checks
✅ Develop belaying skills & climbing communication
✅ Practice holding top rope falls safely

📅 1 hour session each week for 4 weeks
🕡 Tuesdays: 6:30pm–7:30pm or 8pm–9pm
🧗 All equipment & instructors included
