We are one of the largest dance clubs at Aston University. Holding weekly classes in Hip-Hop and Contemporary which post auditions become competition teams in preparation for comp season. Where we compete at both Lincoln and Loughborough University Dance Competitions in the Spring! We also run various social events throughout the year - be it "sesh" (drinking socials) on a Wednesday at the Students' Union, sober seshes, Dinner & Dance or team-based activities. Although, these might not look the same just yet we are working hard to bring you equally as fun virtual socials so keep your eyes peeled for them! Who are we?

Welcome to Aston University Dance Club official page!

Aston University Dance Club is one of the largest student-led performing arts clubs on campus. It consists of about 70 members, forming two teams, comprising of 30 members. The club currently provides classes in Hip-Hop and Contemporary which are lead weekly and enters the Loughborough Dance Competition annually.

Our classes are aimed at people of all abilities and comprise of routine choreography, technique practice and performance.

Some previous successes of the club include; Aston Students’ Union awarding the club Most Improved Club of the year 2016/17. Also being awarded first place in Loughborough dance competition 2017 in Novice Hip-Hop. As a club we run various social events throughout the year from Wednesday sports night to sober socials or team-based activities.
