Meet Collette McNeill, owner of Baby Glowbugs Birmingham - a glow-in-the-dark baby group designed to help little ones develop in a calm and relaxing space with lights, music, visuals and textures.

"I attended sessions with some NCT friends 9 years ago and fell in love with the sessions," says Collette, from Quinton, whose sons are 10 and six.

"Just as I was planning my return to work as a teacher in a SEND school, the founders of Glowbugs were considering a few small franchise opportunities.

"It felt like perfect timing and I was fortunate enough to be in a position to give it a go!

"I started with a day a week at Stirchley Baths, whilst I worked my term's notice at school. And here I am, almost 9 years later, still at Stirchley Baths and 3 other venues! With nursery sessions and birthday parties also part of the job!

"I'm privileged to have met sooooooo many parents (& grandparents) over the years and to have been a small part of 1000s of little ones' first year.

"Such an important time for babies, and an incredibly precious time for parents! It's always beautiful to welcome along new families, but also so wonderful when parents return with their 2nd, and even 3rd babies. It's such a huge compliment & proves that we must be doing something right!

"I'm also proud to be part of a small team of creative, passionate and dedicated mums, we all run our small franchises (all in/around Birmingham and the Black Country) with young families. It fits perfectly! My boys (almost 10 & 6) get a much 'better' mum thanks to Glowbugs!"

Something new could be coming to an Early Years setting near your!!!!

After some wonderfully successful nursery sessions, we've decided to increase the capacity for Early Years sessions in the Quinton/Harborne and surrounding areas!

So, if you'd like a one off visit for a specific occasion or topic, or would like to explore more regular sessions (weekly/fortnightly/half termly) please do get in touch to see what Baby Glowbugs Birmingham can bring to your setting!

All we require is a room which can be darkened and some enthusiastic staff. We'll provide the equipment, enchanting atmosphere & fun (and a qualified Primary SEND teacher!)
