Following on from my post yesterday, anyone who has been directly affected by the person(s) purporting to be JH CYCLES and has not received goods/service for which they have paid are asked to call:

CITIZENS ADVICE Consumer helpline 0808 223 1133 and choose option 2, in order that a potential case can be built.

The person(s) is giving misleading marketing and you have no internet purchase agreement with us, JH CYCLES B8 2TX under the Business Protection Regulations.

Dear Customer

Please be advised that once again I have received telephone calls today from members of the public asking for an update on goods bought on-line allegedly from JH CYCLES.

JH CYCLES DOES NOT TRADE ON THE INTERNET, AND I DO NOT HAVE AN INTERNET SHOP.

I strongly suggest you immediately contact your Bank/card provider in the first instance and make them aware of this scam.

I am angry beyond words that loyal customers are being duped by another purporting to be JH CYCLES.

I am in the process of notifying the correct authorities.

PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU CLICK.

Due to the recent announcement and rise in cases masks are required when coming in to the shop.

Apologies to all, but JH Cycles is CLOSED today Monday 25th January 2021 owing to the snow and ice at home, and I cannot risk it or my life. There are abandoned cars where I live, it's just not thawing 😔

*ATTENTION FOR ALL THOSE FURLOUGHED*

Those who were furloughed on or before March 19th and have been re-furloughed are not entitled to the new minimum wage.

Those that have been employed since the first lockdown, through no fault of their own, are entitled to the new rate of pay.

This leaves a huge inequality.

This is a rule that has escaped many business owners and has meant that people are at risk of furlough fraud and owing a huge amount of overpaid furlough.

We have set up a petition in order to raise this issue. If you have two spare minutes please will you consider signing and sharing it.

Those furloughed in the first lockdown are now only entitled to furlough calculated using the the old minimum wage in March. Whereas my colleagues who were employed after the first lockdown are entitled to furlough calculated using the new minimum wage.
