Looking at distribution of shot dispersion is important in player shot analysis. The skewed distribution - green area enlarging at one end showing more shots ending closer results in the mean being of little use. Blue lines here are the medians of the shot dispersion much more informative than a mean but even better if both are used in relation to each other along with different percentiles.
