❤️🖤 Some people leave a mark on a club that can never be replaced. Jav was one of those people.
It is with immense sadness that Birmingham Moseley Minis & Juniors shares the passing of our Chairman, coach, team manager, mentor and friend, Javan Bramhall.
For so many of our players, parents and coaches, Jav was simply part of Sunday mornings on Billesley Common. Whether he was coaching, refereeing, organising fixtures, writing training plans, lending a hand in the kitchen or offering advice from the touchline, he gave his time, his energy and his heart to this section. If something needed doing, Jav was there.
As coach and team manager of what is now our U15s, Jav played a huge part in the rugby journey of so many young people, but his impact reached every corner of our Minis & Juniors section.
Just over a year ago, Jav was diagnosed with bowel cancer, but his commitment to the club never wavered. If you didn’t know the battle he was facing, you would never have guessed. He continued to coach, referee and support everyone around him with the same kindness, determination and selflessness that defined him.
Our heartfelt condolences are with Claire, his children and all of Jav’s family and friends.
Jav’s family have kindly requested no flowers. Instead, if you would like to make a gesture in his memory, donations to the Ruth Strauss Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Jav, for everything you gave to Birmingham Moseley Minis & Juniors. You will never be forgotten. Rest easy. ❤️🖤
