The Whitcombe Trophy 2026 🏆

What a fantastic day and great turnout in memory of two very special people - Dave and Linda 💙

How fitting that the very first name on the Whitcombe Trophy is a Whitcombe, with Lincoln Whitcombe and Ryan Walters winning the inaugural competition.

Congratulations to Paul Whitcombe for winning this years Club Championship which took place on Sunday afternoon 🏆

Paul beat Jonathan Griffin in a great final. Both players played well all day and were worthy finalists 💙🎉

It is with great sadness that we remember Dave Whitcombe, a much-loved member of the Baldwin Bowling Club family.

Dave represented Baldwin with pride for many years and was a great friend to so many around the club. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Dave's funeral will take place tomorrow, Friday 10th July at 3:15pm at Yardley Crematorium (B25 8NA). Afterwards, Dave's family warmly invite everyone back to Baldwin Bowling Club to celebrate his life and share memories together.

His son, Paul, has asked us to share these details with all of Dave's friends. Everyone who knew Dave is very welcome to attend.

On behalf of everyone at Baldwin Bowling Club, we send our heartfelt condolences to Paul and the entire Whitcombe family.

Rest in peace, Dave. You will always be a valued part of the Baldwin family. 💙

As the new season approaches, we’re delighted to announce that our greenkeeper James Kernick has been hard at work over the winter, and we are pleased to reveal the Baldwin Green will be a little different this season for visitors.

We look forward to welcoming you all over the 2026 Season 💙🕥

Success for our girls in Fleetwood 🏆🎉
It’s been a great few weeks up in Fleetwood for the Baldwin ladies with 2 trophies making their way back down the M6.
🏆 Olivia Fishwick 2025 Fleetwood Festival Champion
🏆Shannon Kernick 2025 Ladies Waterloo Champion
As a result of this, both have also qualified for the Ladies Champion of Champions to take place later this year.
Congrats girls - everyone at the Baldwin is proud of you both!
