Midlands Box Cup are open, with the semi-final stage of the tournament set to take place on Saturday 22nd June 2024.
The junior event will be hosted at Hadley Stadium, Wilson Road, Smethwick, B66 4NL and is open to male and female participants born between 2008-2009.
Class A: 0-5 bouts
Class B: 6-10 bouts
The aim of the Box Cup is to help develop grassroots athletes and to offer a fair and even playing field for those with less competition experience.
Youngsters will compete for the prestigious Midlands Box Cup titles and have the chance to win the following accolades too: best male boxer, best female boxer, best judge as well as, best referee.
Initially created by Windmill Boxing Team, the tournament is making a return and will accept entries from Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
