Supporting Stourbridge Golf Club and the Stourbridge Community
Everyone at Great Barr Golf Club was deeply saddened to see the devastating impact of the fires in Stourbridge.
Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected, particularly those who have suffered damage or loss to their homes, and with the emergency services who have worked tirelessly in extremely challenging conditions.
We also want to extend our support to our friends at Stourbridge Golf Club, its members and staff at what is an incredibly difficult time.
Great Barr Golf Club has reached out directly to Stourbridge Golf Club and offered the use of our golfing facilities to help their members continue to play while the club assesses the situation and works through the immediate challenges ahead.
We are working with Stourbridge Golf Club to put the appropriate arrangements in place and would ask their members to await further information from their club about how this support can be accessed.
It has been heartening to see golf clubs across the region coming together to offer their support. At times like this, the strength of the golfing community really does show.
