Congratulations to Alison and George, winners of Sundayโ€™s Wimbledon themed Tournament and runners-up Stacey and James. A fabulous time was had by all 13 players, under a cloudless sky, with George and Damianโ€™s expert pairings making it a very uplifting event ๐Ÿ†

Strawberries and Cream (as well as home-made fairy cakes) kindly provided by Alison gave the occasion an authentic โ€˜Wimbledonโ€™ feel ๐Ÿ“

Well done to everyone who took part and thanks to those who provided additional refreshments. Another very successful social event, superbly organised once again by George and Damian, at our friendly club ๐Ÿ‘

We're bringing Pickleball to the club for the first time and we've designed this space so every player, whether on foot or in a wheelchair, can enjoy the worldโ€™s fastest growing sport. 100 years in, and we're still finding ways to get better.

We've been busy making some very special improvements to the club. This isn't just a fresh coat of paint โ€” it's an upgrade that changes the game.

We're introducing something that makes our courts ready for everyone to enjoy. And we think our members and our community are going to love it.

The first club tournament of the year, with a โ€˜United Cupโ€™ theme was held today, with 15 players taking part. As always, there was a fun atmosphere and plenty of enjoyable competitive play, with a good mix of team and social play members involved.
Congratulations to the winners and runners-up in the two groups:

South Korea B - Damian and Tammy won against Spain-Judith and Gary
