I realised I've not done an "About me" for a while... so ... Hi! π
My name is James and in the day I work at Birmingham Newman University as a Student Sport and Physical Activity Coordinator. π
I'm also a qualified Personal Trainer and fitness class instructor. Currently leading classes such as Spin (Group cycling) and Bodyweight Fitness. I have a big passion for bringing people into fitness for the first time or helping them get back into fitness and restarting their journey πͺ
I love talking to people about their fitness journey no matter what chapter they are at! So if you're new to fitness and exercise or if you're already halfway through your journey but want to talk more to someone else then drop me a message. π¨
I work a lot with people looking to lose body fat and increase fitness and absolutely love conversations about how fitness, exercise and sport is amazing for mental health. π£
I'm also going through my own fitness journey (aren't we all?) I recently started benching over 100kg, leg pressing over 400kg and squatting more than 120kg which I'm pretty happy with and am now putting more running into my fitness plan to aid the body fat decrease! πͺπββοΈ
