Welcome to the Sport Aston page. Sport Aston runs the sports facilities at Aston University

Sport Aston operates the sports facilities at Aston University. The Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre is the main facility on the Aston University campus. We have:
• 100+ Station Gym
• 25m Pool
• Sauna & Steam Rooms
• 8 Badminton Courts
• 2 Squash Courts
• Martial Arts & Dance Studios

Sport Aston also operates two Astroturf football pitches on campus that are available to be booked up to 8 da

ys in advance. The Gosta Green pitch can be used for 5-a-side and the 3G ASV pitch can be used for three separate 5-a-side matches or one 8-a-side match. Aston University has a wide range of student run sports clubs that any Aston University student can get involved with:

Sport Aston will operate as follows:

• 30/08 - Sunday: 9:30am – 6:30pm
• 31/08 – Bank Holiday: Closed
• 01/09 – University Closure Day: Closed
• 02/09 – Wednesday: 6:30am – 10:30pm (Back to normal)

Today is Cameron’s last day at Sport Aston after an incredible 10 years with us. 🥹

For the past years, Cameron has been one of those who brings the centre to life always chatting with members, getting to know everyone, having a laugh with the team and somehow always bringing people together.

You’ve been such a big part of the Sport Aston family, and we’re going to miss having you around so so much. 🥺

But whilst we’re sad to see you go, we’re also so excited for you and your next chapter!
