Where Faith Meets Sport, and Community Comes Together 🤝⚽️
Concord Youth Centre is more than just a place to play sport.
It is a space built around community, connection, faith and opportunity — bringing people from different backgrounds, communities and faiths together through the power of sport.
At Birmingham United, we see ourselves as connectors.
Our role is to bring the right people into the same space, create opportunities for collaboration and use sport as the platform that connects communities.
Through our work at Concord as Playzone connectors, we’re proud to connect with local organisations through Sport Birmingham , creating stronger links between youth provision, grassroots sport, faith communities and the wider community.
These relationships allow us to share knowledge, open doors and create opportunities that go beyond football.
We believe that when organisations come together, the impact we can have on young people becomes so much greater.
Whether it’s connecting young people to sporting opportunities, supporting community initiatives, creating youth activities or bringing different faith communities together, our aim is to make Concord a place where people, organisations and ideas can connect.
Football is simply the starting point.
The bigger picture is community development, opportunity and positive change.
The goal isn’t just to develop better players.
It’s to help develop better people, stronger communities and lasting connections.
