We’ve hit £40,000 — but we’re not done yet! 🎉🔥💪

WHAT. A. START! 🤩

What an incredible few weeks we’ve had! We are absolutely blown away to announce that we have reached our £40,000 fundraising target in just 2 weeks! 🙌🎉

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to every single person who has supported us, donated, shared our posts, taken part in fundraising and helped make this possible. We are incredibly grateful to you all. ❤️

Another huge thank you to British Gas - Energy for tomorrow for match funding the donations— your support is helping us achieve so many more of our goals towards making our building more energy efficient! 🙏

BUT… WE’RE NOT DONE YET! 🚀
We’ve spoken to so many people across our community who are all still buzzing with excitement and ready to keep fundraising, so we’ve decided to set ourselves a new stretch target and see just how much more we can achieve together.

💷 WHAT DOES £40,000 GET US?
Our amazing £40,000 target already allows us to make some huge improvements, including:
🏠 New front entrance doors
💡 New lighting in the main gym, balcony and entrance areas
🔥 A new heating system for the entrance, corridors and toilets
But we have SO many more plans to improve our building and make the facility even better for our community.

🌟 THE NEXT PHASE
With your continued support, we are hoping to be able to install:
🏢 A new insulated ceiling in the dance studio, creating a new, more usable working area
🚪 New shutters for the front entrance
🔥 New fire doors in the gym to help stop draughts
🪟 A cover across the balcony window to reduce draughts and heat loss
…and lots of other smaller jobs that will all add up to make a huge difference!

We’re going for THREE PHASES, with each level allowing us to complete more of the improvements we have planned:

🎉£40,000 TARGET REACHED! 🎉

15 DAYS. £40,000 RAISED. 🤯❤️

We honestly can’t put into words how grateful and overwhelmed we are right now.

A HUGE thank you to every single person who has donated, shared, supported and believed in our fundraiser. Your generosity has been incredible 🙏

Together, we raised an amazing £10,000 and British Gas Energy for Tomorrow has match-funded it with an incredible £30,000, taking us all the way to our £40,000 target! 🎉

This is absolutely MASSIVE for our clubs and our centre. Thanks to your support, we can now make some really important improvements including:
🚪 New entrance doors
🔥 Heating in the corridors, reception and toilets
💡 New lighting in the gym
💡 Improved lighting around the front entrance

And the exciting part is… WE’RE NOT DONE YET! 👀

We still have 4 weeks left of our crowdfunding campaign which means we now have the opportunity to introduce a STRETCH TARGET and see just how much more we can achieve together! 💪

The stretch target will help us raise additional funds to put towards the extra work and costs that can come with completing these improvements.
For example, when the existing entrance doors are removed, we will need a new shutter but this isn't covered by our original £40,000 target. Having a stretch target gives us the opportunity to help cover additional expenses and potentially take on even more improvements that will make a real difference to the centre.

So… why stop at £40,000 when we have 4 weeks left?! 🚀

We are incredibly thankful for every single person who has got us this far. It really shows what can happen when our clubs and community come together. ❤️
