As sessions are only run by Matt, he gets to know and value his clientsโ€™ strengths and weaknesses, therefore, is able to offer a high level of accountability and personal experience to reach your personal goals. MCT Fitness classes cater for all fitness levels and sessions are as easy or as hard as you make them. So, whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned warrior, Matt will pitch his coaching to where you are currently at. All of MCT Fitness classes are conducted outside. Below are 3 key reasons why outdoor fitness / exercise is superior:

1. Data suggests that outdoor fitness / exercise can help you stick with regular physical activity because of the feel-good factor. The oxygen boost you get from the fresh air gets the serotonin flowing.

2. It can help reduce depression and anxiety. Exercise in general, is a known depression alleviating practice. During exercise your body releases endorphins, which are the body's natural feel-good hormones that also help relieve pain. Studies show that people who exercise are less likely to experience depression than people who are inactive. When it comes to outdoor exercise / fitness vs indoor exercise / fitness, some evidence shows that being outdoors has a further optimizing effect on depression-relief than being indoors.

3. It gets you to actually spend time outdoors. Most people spend the majority of their day indoors and or behind a desk. You can feel more empowered from exercising outdoors and spending a small amount of your time in the fresh air than spending even 'more' time indoors by exercising indoors. Completed the Chester Half Marathon back in May and finished with a strong time of 2:13 ๐Ÿ™Œ

The work she put in on the build up was second to none! The outcome was well deserved ๐Ÿ‘

We based her plan on 3 runs per week focusing on 1 X quality session, 1 X easy run and 1 X progressive long run. Chev also comes to me once per week for her strength training. Chev is one of the strongest female clients I have! ๐Ÿ’ช

Nutrition coaching for performance and recovery was also implemented throughout the plan to enable her to crush her workouts and to also perform well on the day ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

It was fantastic watching her grow into the whole process and I was really proud that she got the time and experience she was after ๐Ÿซถ
