Prenton Golf Club offers a great golf course coupled with a great social atmosphere all at an extremely competitive cost. Our parkland course on the Wirral of 6429 yds (SSS 71) offers a challenge for golfers of all abilities. Owing to the course assets and fantastic condition we pride ourselves on being regularly picked for county level golf and competitions. A scenic parkland course of 6429 yds (

SSS 71) situated near to Birkenhead, with splendid views to the west across the Wirral Peninsular with Welsh mountains in the distance - and yet we are so close to the cities of Liverpool and Chester. Our fine Club had its Centenary in 2005 which we celebrated in style; a year of glittering social functions and successful competitions in which Members, Visitors and Guests truly enjoyed the facilities both on the course and in our stylish refurbished Clubhouse. From very humble beginnings over a century ago, visitors today can look about them and see a golf course of great beauty and quality, a comfortable and welcoming clubhouse, and a friendly membership of ladies, gentlemen and juniors who are justly proud of the club they are part of. Our course is in excellent condition, attributable to the dedication of the team of green staff, who continue to maintain our exacting standards. 🏌️ That’s a wrap! 🏌️‍♂️

And just like that, our Festival of Golf Week at Prenton Golf Club has come to an end!

Thank you to all our competitors near and far for taking part and making it such a great week of golf - we have loved having you here.

A special shout out to our greenkeepers — we had so many compliments on how amazing the course looked and the fantastic condition it was in. ⛳👏

And thank you to our dedicated members who volunteered their time to help run the daily competitions. We couldn’t do it without you.

We are already looking forward to next year!

Today was our Texas Scramble and here are the winners..... 🏆

The winners of the All-Prenton team prize are
Dean Jackson, Andy Clegg, Dave Newcomen & Peter Lally with a net 50.

🥇First prize goes to Chris Williams, Sam Williams, Steve Coath & Paul Benson with a net 53, winning on a card playoff.

🥈Second prize goes to Michael Cottier, Michael Frost, Joe Sephton and Dave Ellis also with 53.

🥉Third prize goes to T. Jones, R. Hodrien, D. Thomas & Graham Woodward with net 54 on a card playoff.

Festival of Golf Week – Seniors Open Results 🏌️‍♂️

What a start to Festival of Golf Week! On Monday we held our Seniors Open and the golf was brilliant.

A privilege to host the Cheshire County Matchplay Championship CheshireGolf over the weekend. The course was in excellent condition with some great feedback received. Thank you to everyone that volunteered and made the event a huge success. Congratulations to Sam Prince who won his 3rd Championship on the row in the men’s event. 🏆🏆🏆

🏆 Huge Congratulations to our General Manager, Beth Davies! 🏆

Beth took an outstanding win at the Ladies’ Denbighshire & Flintshire County Championship held at this week.
