We would like all members to Join us on the 6th or 8th of June to help commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, at the strip. We will be holding two days as unfortunately D-Day itself falls on a work day.

We will hold the next club meeting starting 7pm prompt. 6th June The BBQ will be out so bring your own food, some of us will be at the field most of the day flying warbirds but anyone is welcome to join us with any model they like.

We will also be holding a D-Day event Saturday 8th June all day. Warbirds from WW1 WW2, military type aircraft, but also open to non military planes for flying only fair. We will supply refreshments, burgers & hot dogs, if you wish to bring your own food that's fine too. Look forward to seeing you all their.

WRCFS have been on this site at Arrow Country park since the early swinging sixties. We have hosted some of the top names in the R/C community throughout the years. We are a bunch of like minded modeling enthusiast's that like the club to be fun, helpful and engaging.

Pilots with all types of R/C Aircraft levels and skills, from beginners to Scale comp are welcome:
Glow, Gas, Electric, Scale, Sport, Jets, Gliders, Helicopters, and Drones.

We hold several open days and club events throughout the year, please see our events page for more info.

We can fly every day from 9.30 to Dusk.

If you are interested in R/C model aircraft flying and building. Or better still would like to join the club.
There are usually some members present at the field on a Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday. When the weather is suitable (dry and not too windy).

This is a project from my US kit stash, a very rare Great Planes Super Aeromaster, I will be going retro on this using an OS 91 glow engine, Great planes have a very good reputation in model kit designs, in ease of building to flyability of a completed model. It's a typical kit build design, over the plans, I use a combination of Cyano, aliphatic and epoxy glues in construction, and will be covering in a variety of Solortex colours.
