Preparing for the RYA PWC Courses this weekend. Water tested our Jet Skis for a final visit to the Sovereign Lighthouse.

Following TDCs proposal for new PSPO and PWC regulations and places to launch. I would like to notify everyone that we have not been consulted by the council on the matter and we are awaiting a response to our request for a meeting. At present the club does not have any room for more members and unless the council wish to provide welfare facilities we do not feel we can accommodate more members than there already are. We will keep you posted with developments. As I said the council have not enforced anything yet these are just proposals so please go to web site and comment.

Guys please be careful with the seaweed at the gap. I jumped into some this morning while recovering and while climbing out of the wretched stuff a pocket of gas must of been released causing me to hyperventilate and almost pass out. Fortunately I was ok but it did scare me. Anyway its hydrogen sulfide that is released, a very dangerous gas. Please dont play in the seaweed I will report concerns to the council.

Good morning all. Firstly I would like to thank everyone for the interest in joining the club, after much deliberation and review we have decided that for now the club is at capacity during these times. We have now set ourselves the task to look into ways in which the club can grow and expand in the coming years while maintaining a safe environment. A larger club requires greater insurance and organisation so that everyone can enjoy the benefits. Sorry for those that have missed out this year. Stay safe and enjoy the rest of summer BWSC

HM Coastguard Margate were tasked by UK Coastguard to provide safety cover following a vehicle getting stuck in the sand at Westbrook. On route we were advised that the vehicle had been recovered so we were stood down.

In a coastal emergency dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard
