Get ready to lace up those running shoes because this year’s UK100 Marathon Club AGM MARATHON is happening on September 14th!🌟🏃‍♂️🌟Hosted by the fantastic Tim & Jenny of Running Events Devon, it’s going to be an epic day of running, camaraderie, and celebration.🎉🏃🏿‍♂️🎉

Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or dreaming of completing your first, this event is for YOU!!🫵🏾 So bring along your friends and family for a day of fun and fitness. With a generous 7 hour cutoff time EVERYONE is welcome.

It’s been 7 long years since my daughter put on a concert at St. Peter’s Church in East Bridgford. She had originally sang in the church choir, from the age of 7 and had her first singing and piano lessons by the amazing organists Mr Ken Jennings.
The link below is Lydia singing the opening song, age 15.
The last few years Lydia has been following her passion for singing and is being classically trained at the Royal College Of Music.

Many of my family and friends will remember ‘little’ Lydia when she played the lead lady(girl) Sandy in Grease and also Maria in Westside Story at the Newark Palace Theatre…
Well now she’s back for one night only to help raise funds for St. Peter’s Church and she bringing the extremely talented Tayfun Bomboz (violinist)… I cannot call him her warm up as he too is at the very top of his game.
This will truly be a evening to remember!!

Great to see the amazing Roy Jones Jr. supporting ‘Switch Up’, Nottingham’s services for young vulnerable young people. Body&Sole had the pleasure of meeting the boxing champion/rapper a few years ago at a Switch Up fundraising event where my daughter was performing. We were lucky to receive a signed boxing glove that is proudly displayed in the shop🥊 And NO it’s not for sale! 😂🥊🥊🥊🥊😂
