Mobility exercises and training are essential for overall health, athletic performance, and daily functionality.
You can easily incorporate mobility by doing dynamic stretches (leg swings, arm circles, hip openers), using the foam roller DAILY (I know πŸ₯΄) as it releases tightness, doing a yoga or Pilates class and or targeted mobility exercises (thoracic rotations, cat-cow stretches, and deep squats).

Incorporating mobility training into your routine will not only improve your physical health but also enhance the quality of your movements and your life! 😌

The aim of hip thrusts is to fully load the glute in the shortened position by reaching full hip extension at the top. In order to get to this position, it’s vital we drive the movement with the hips and NOT the spine πŸ™…πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

A common issue is people over extending at the top of the movement. To avoid this, aim to incorporate a posterior pelvic tilt, creating full lockout at the top, without putting pressure on the lower back.
Cues -
βœ… Lead with the hips
βœ… Pausing at the top to feel the engaged glutes
βœ… Control drop slowly to keep hip tension
βœ… Eyes forward with tucked chin to prevent upper body being thrown back
βœ… Keep abdominal tension throughout
