This morning’s strength session took an unexpected turn...

A few RDLs.A few calf raises.A few cartwheels.A few handstands.

Because fitness isn’t just about burning calories or chasing PBs.

It’s about moving your body, challenging yourself and remembering that exercise can actually be enjoyable.

At 44, I’m still lifting.Still learning.Still having fun.

And I hope I never stop. 🧡🩷

Three classes.One coach.One incredible BFF community.

Yesterday, Liz took the reins across all three of our Monday classes:

☀️ 9:30am Energise & Elevate
🔥 6pm Functional HIIT
💪 7:15 Monday Meltdown

From start to finish, she brought exactly what we know and love her for — energy, encouragement, good vibes and the ability to help our members dig deep and achieve more than they thought possible.

Liz has been part of the BFF journey from the very beginning, and we’re so grateful for everything she brings to the gym floor and our community.

Most importantly, a huge well done to every single lady who showed up, put the work in and gave their all across the day. 🙌

Sunday we kicked off the first of our 3 June Sunday Sessions and what a morning it was.

This session had Claire written all over it — high energy, plenty of encouragement, lots of laughs and a workout that challenged everyone whilst still being enjoyable.

The ladies showed up, worked hard, supported one another and brought an incredible atmosphere from start to finish. 🙌

At BFF, it’s never just about the workout. It’s about building confidence, building friendships and creating a space where women feel supported whilst working towards their goals.

Seeing the feedback come through afterwards was the perfect reminder of why we do what we do. 💚

A huge well done to every lady who came along and gave it their all.

“She didn’t walk into BFF looking to coach… she walked in trying to find herself again.” ✨

When Liz first joined BFF after having her third baby, she was completely lost in who she was — both personally and as a PT.

What I love most is that she never even told me she was a personal trainer at first. She simply showed up, put the work in, and slowly started rebuilding her confidence again.

Over time, that spark came back… and when I advertised for an instructor to join BFF, her husband encouraged her to message me. Since then, she hasn’t looked back.

This is exactly what BFF is about. It’s so much more than classes. It’s a community of strong, supportive women all working towards their own goals while lifting each other up along the way. 💚

Watching Liz grow in confidence and strength — both physically and mentally — has been incredible, and I genuinely can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes her.

Sometimes progress really does start with simply showing up. ✨

I don’t eat well all the time, I have a lot of bad days like everyone else but I really don’t get down on it, it just happens and I move on when it comes to the next meal 💪

Stop beating yourselves up when you don’t eat well, prioritise what your target is, mine here is my protein and the rest is 💩 but that’s just life

✨ WELCOME COACH CLAIRE ✨

Many of you already know Claire and the energy she brings to Built for Fitness 💖

Fitness has always been part of Claire’s life in one way or another, but around 4 years ago she discovered her love for strength training and realised fitness is about so much more than just the number on the scales.

As a busy mum of 2 and working full time as a Housing Officer, Claire understands how difficult it can be trying to fit exercise into everyday life. But no matter how hectic life gets, she’s always made time for herself — and through that she’s built confidence, strength, friendships and a real passion for helping others.

Claire has worked so, so hard to finalise her fitness qualification and I honestly couldn’t be prouder of everything she has achieved 💪✨

She’s also taking on one of her biggest challenges yet — the Deadly Dozen in June — something she admits she never would have believed she could do before. A true reminder of what confidence, consistency and fitness can build.

Through her own journey Claire has gained so much knowledge, confidence and understanding of the challenges that real life can bring — and that’s exactly what makes her so relatable.

Her encouragement, energy and supportive nature are what people naturally gravitate towards, and we know she’s going to help so many women feel stronger, fitter and more confident in themselves 💖

“Healthy” doesn’t always mean it works for your body. 👀

Living with Coeliac disease means I’ve had to learn the hard way that food can either fuel you… or leave you feeling bloated, uncomfortable and drained.

So instead of skipping breakfast or grabbing something quick, I stick to meals that I know make me feel GOOD from the inside out 🙌🏼

This morning’s breakfast:
✨ Gluten-free oats
✨ Protein powder
✨ Collagen
✨ Coconut milk

Simple, filling, high protein and easy on my stomach 🤍

When you find foods that work for your body, your energy, training and overall health feel so much better.

And no… healthy eating doesn’t need to be complicated 💪🏼

She started it to become stronger 💪

My day 1 at Built for Fitness began on the very first day it opened at the Innovation Centre 1.5 years ago 💪

Before this, I had tried numerous PTs helping me get in shape, but most focused on weights and not cardio. I realised my body needed both to really change.

BFF has now become my second home ❤️

I’ve gone through some major stresses over the last year, but training and the support around me helped me stay level through it all. I honestly put this down to building strength inside and out from the classes I attend.

Sarah has created such a welcoming environment for women to thrive and feel better about themselves.

Built for Fitness has genuinely enhanced my life for the better, so thank you to Sarah and all the women who attend… they always have my back, just like I have theirs 🥹💪
