And just like that, the Summer League has come to an end! 🏀🏆

Finals day brought two championship matchups, with both divisions battling it out for the final time this season.

The day opened with the Mixed Recreational Division Final as Stockton Shadows faced Golden Smog Warriors. The first half was a closely fought affair, with neither team able to create much separation. But after the break, Golden Smog Warriors found another level. The intensity picked up, the shots started falling, and Smog gradually pulled away to take a convincing 47–31 victory and claim the Mixed Recreational Division title. 🏆

The division's Season MVP was also announced, with Jack McNaughton taking home the award after an outstanding campaign. Jack was one of the most reliable players throughout the season, consistently making an impact on both offence and defence. A thoroughly deserved recognition for his performances from start to finish.

The Men's Premier Division Final closed out the season, with Shadows Men taking on Warriors United in another hard-fought contest. Shadows battled to stay within reach throughout the game, but a few shots simply refused to fall when they needed them most. There were moments where they looked ready to make a run, but Warriors United kept them at bay with relentless hustle and strong offensive play, eventually securing a 67–48 victory and becoming Men's Premier Division champions. 🏆

Liam Hay was named the Men's Premier Division Season MVP after another excellent performance in the final, finishing with 25 points. His consistency throughout the entire season was what really stood out, making an impact week after week and carrying that same level into the championship game. Another thoroughly deserved MVP award.

Congratulations to our champions, Golden Smog Warriors and Warriors United, and a huge congratulations to our two Season MVPs, Jack McNaughton and Liam Hay! 👏🏆

And finally, a massive thank you to every team, player, coach, official and everyone involved for making this Summer League what it was. From the opening games to the final buzzer, we've had some brilliant basketball, big performances and plenty of memorable moments.
