Last night our newly established girls’ team took on Sedgefield girls in a softball friendly, and what a performance it was!

With the team only having been together for 8 weeks, and many of the girls picking up a cricket bat and ball for the very first time, we certainly weren’t expecting too much. But they proved us completely wrong! 🙌

The girls put everything they’ve learned in training into practice, showing fantastic teamwork, determination and some brilliant new skills. They narrowly lost by just 2 runs in a very closely fought game!!

To lose by such a fine margin against a more established side is a fantastic achievement and gives us a real glimpse of the potential this new team has for next season🌟

A huge well done to every single one of the girls - you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. ❤️

And a massive thank you to their coach Saj, and to everyone who has supported, encouraged and helped make this new girls’ team possible. Your hard work is already paying off! 👏

🏆 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What a season it’s been for our U15s! 💙🏏

After a real rollercoaster of a season, full of highs, lows, brilliant performances and some tough days, it all came down to the final points tally… and our boys have done it! 🏆🙌

The determination, resilience and never-give-up attitude they’ve shown throughout the season has been fantastic. They kept fighting right until the very end, and every single run, wicket and point mattered.

To come through such a closely fought league and finish TOP OF THE TABLE is a fantastic achievement and one they should all be incredibly proud of. 👏

A huge congratulations to every player, and a massive thank you to the coaches, parents and everyone who has supported the team throughout the season.

Our annual Sportsman’s Dinner is the club’s biggest fundraiser of the year, helping to fund:

Without this event, the club simply couldn’t continue to provide cricket for so many players in our community.
