With the 2024/25 season coming to a close and not making the progress we had set out at the start of the season we have played our last game as a team.

Management team of Wayne and Alex would like too thank all players for there continued support throughout the season and also anyone else who has supported us along the way as well as the player sponsors we had this season.
It’s been a very tough season we the league we where in full of new teams and a lot of them being good enough for the division above i do believe we made progress on the last couple of seasons.

Lewis White = Clean sweep legend! 🥇

Players’ Player. Manager’s Player. Supporters’ Player. BOOM. 💥

He’s only gone and bagged the lot – and no one’s shocked. Vice captain. Team lifter. Tactical general. Top lad.

This season Lewis has played everywhere but in goal (…although give him gloves and he’d probably boss that too). Whether we’re flying or under pressure, he’s the voice pushing us forward, geeing up the lads, and making sure heads never drop.

👨‍🏫Manager Wayne’s words? “Go-to guy. Tactically sharp. Always delivers.”
👕Verdict from the squad? “Leader. Workhorse. Mr Dependable.”
📣Supporters? “Well in, Lewis!!”

To put it simply – Lewis White has been unreal this season and absolutely earned every single one of these awards.

Wolviston Reserves 3-7 Middlestone moors

Last home game of the season and we played champions of the league, Obviously expecting a very hard game the lads went into this with the correct attitude. Couple of chances in the first 10 minutes which then led to a goal for wolviston Paul wright-King scoring on his return to the team middlestone moor made it 1-1 within a couple of minutes but then Wolviston made it 2-1 through midfielder max leighton, Same story again Middlestone moor make it 2-2 5 minutes later, 39 minutes gone when wolviston made it 3-2 again Paul wright-king with a brace.

HT 3-2

Second half came and middlestone moor where on top pressing wolviston hard and it was telling that wolviston where getting tired with only one sub available 15 minutes into the second half middlestone moor scored two quick goals to make it 4-3 sadly wolviston couldn’t kick on and middlestone moor showed why they are champions and scored another two in the next 15 minutes and then a 7th in stoppage time.

Today we host Sunderland West End Reserves

Sunderland are 6th in the league and with this being there last game of the season will be looking to finish it on a high.

Wolviston with a 0-0 midweek will be hoping too build on that get something from what will be a hard game.

Crook Town Youth 0-0 Wolviston Reserves

Last night we travelled over to crook and after some late drop outs we only had 12 available again.

First half was a good game of football by both teams and both could have took the lead but the best chance of the half fell to wolviston forward owen pitts who got through but his shot his the crossbar.

Second half crook had more of the ball than wolviston and a goal line clearance from keefe mcgarth to keep the score 0-0.

Clean sheet and a point on the board after recent results is definitely one we will take.

Good luck too Crook for next season

Today we play host to Jarrow Reserves, The reverse fixture only happened a few weeks ago where jarrow came out easy winners. Today we are hoping for a better result with the players we have available to us

Ferryhill Town Youth 5-1 Wolviston Reserves

Today was always going to be a hard game but wolviston couldn’t have started worse if they tried. 91 seconds on the clock when ferryhill take a freekick and miss kick it and wolviston fail to clear there lines. 1-0. 3 minutes later a corner to the back post and a bullet header by the player who ran the game for ferryhill causing us issues on every attack. 10 minutes in Ferryhill made it 3-0 again some poor defending but a great finish in the bottom corner. The game settled a little bit and wolviston had a goal ruled offside although i don’t believe it was. Ferryhill grabbed another goal just before half time.

HT 4-0

Second half wolviston were playing a lot better than the first with a change of shape in the team. 62 minutes and wolviston finally had a goal after having two chances cleared off the line. Lewis white with the goal. On 67 minutes ferryhill went down to 10 men after some choice words that the referee wasn’t happy with. Wolviston kept on pushing and just couldn’t get the second goal to try and push on. In the 83rd minute ferryhill hit wolviston on the break and made it 5-1. Maybe if we had started the game a little bit better we might have been able to give them a game. But we were way to slow out the blocks today.

MATCHDAY 22 for the reserves

As the season starts to draw a close and with only 7 games left we will be looking to put some more points on the board to what has been a poor season.

Last time out against Ferryhill we lost 4-3 way back in august. Ferryhill now find themselves sat in 5th while we are in 14th
