Porous concrete base being installed last week along with the trench being dug out for the root barrier system. This base will now be left to dry for a week or so prior to the resin bound epdm being laid down.
Already carried out a site visit for another school in the area who are after a similar set up.

Out with the old and prepping for the new!
500sq meter, 7 lane long jump runway being relaid, new landing pit sand, new weighted landing pit cover, new additional landing area at the opposite end of the runway with a pole vault trough being installed. Due to tree root issues in the past we will also be digging a 45m long trench and installing a root barrier system. Finished surface will be bright red epdm and will be freshly line marked with the new machine and paints.
