Weekend Results! 💚🏏

The Sat 2’s unfortunately lost convincingly in their penultimate game of the season, however the clubs’ Sunday sides both finished their season with fantastic wins, including Amelie Rowe taking her first adult 5fer! 🔥

The 1sts dominated Luton Town after bowling them out for 150, with Deryn the star bowler claiming 4 wickets! Wade chased it down in emphatic fashion with Tom Boyd steering it home with 58 not out to finish another great season for him!

The 2nds were involved in a low scoring thriller as they set Olney 112 to win. What followed were some amazing performances from the clubs youth players as they all contributed with wickets, with Amelie Rowe taking a 5fer to help Town claim the win after bowling the home side out for 98!

Weekend Results 💚🏏

The weather unfortunately got the better of our Saturday 1sts and 3rds which resulted in their seasons finishing with a damp squib.

Sunday did see matches played though with the 1sts losing narrowly to Queens Park. Joe Randall continued his great form with another 50 and Ross Fensome also took a 4fer. The chase did however prove a bridge too far though as we fell 16 runs short.

Top scored for the 2’s with 71 but Olney were able to reach the target of 154 with 4 wickets in hand still. Both sides still have remaining fixtures with the opportunity to finish the season on a high!

🚨 President’s day and presentation day 🚨

📅On the 13th September we will be holding a massive double event. Our President’s day event returns after a few years, and we will round off a fantastic season with both our youth and senior presentation events.

🏏The day will start with a continuation of the newly established u15s vs parents fixture, which will be followed by the youth presentation. The senior players will then play out a short game and the day will finish with the senior presentation. 🏆

👏Please come and join us in what promises to be a fantastic end of the season, and celebrate successes across the club at all levels. We will also be doing August’s monthly draw to end the day, with a one off “ch*****ne draw” too. 🍾

🍺The bar will be open as will the BBQ.

🚨August monthly draw🚨

📅 August’s monthly draw will be done slightly later than normal. To celebrate the end of the season we will be drawing the winners for August on the 13th September as part of our president’s and presentation day celebration. We’d love to see as many people there to support this great event. More details to follow very, very soon.

💰 Currently the first prize is over £100 but we are confident it will grow even more so make sure you enter if you haven’t already by following the link from the QR code.

🍾 As a special one off to celebrate the end of the season we will also do a 4th “ch*****ne” draw, which will see the winner receive a bottle of ch*****ne.
