⏰ 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 10:00am – 2:30pm

This event is about building confidence over fences, and attendees of 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀 are welcome — whether you prefer to work over poles on the ground or tackle larger fences. We can accommodate everyone!

✔️𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀: 1 hour (max 4 riders)
✔️𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀: 30 minutes

Job opportunity:
We are looking for a part time member of staff to join our small team.
Start date 1st Oct.
This is a seasonal job and ends the end of April 2026.
Must have experience handling all types of horses from youngsters to oldies and everything in between.
All general yard duties.
This is a very friendly BHS Approved yard with a lovely bunch of liveries.
Great facilities and good working conditions.
Own horse a possibility.
Qualities:
Must be reliable
Must be punctual
Must be physically fit
Must be flexible
Must have a sense of humour.
Pay above the NLW and opt in pension.

References will be required.

Looking for helpers and judges for the Scottish TREC Championships.
Dates: 6th and 7th Sept.
Location: Dunsyre.
No experience necessary as we will show you what to do.
We supply a packed lunch and it’s fun.
A few hours on one day, a whole day or both days.
If you do both days we supply you with a meal ticket for the Saturday night.

📣Introducing the 'Runners & Riders' that will be representing TREC GB at the upcoming Senior Euro and Young Rider World Championships in September in the Netherlands 📣

🇬🇧 Dorothy Still & Wahiki 🇬🇧
Dot & her ISH Wahiki have been a stalwart of the Senior GB TREC Team since 2012. Dot stumbled upon TREC in 2008 when a friend hired her outdoor school to do some TREC Training. She was talked into giving it a go and from then on, she was hooked!

When asked what she loves most about the sport she replied 'Everything. The challenge of the map reading and the fantastic countryside that we get to ride over, the obedience of the MA and of course the thrill, obedience and agility of the PTV. Most of all it's great fun. I have made some great friends around the world. I also love organising competitions as feel it is important to give back to a sport that has given me so much'.

Dot's number 1 TREC moment that she will never forget is 'the World Championships in 2016 when I realised Wahiki and I had come 13th at a very tough, very hot (not just competitive but temperature too) competition. Wahiki was very brave and was only one of a very few to jump the log at the top of the steep slope. I knew Wahiki was special but it was that moment that I release how truly special he was'.
