Biggar Rugby Football Club is the Premier Rugby Club in the Clydesdale area offering Rugby for players of all ages from P1-Veterans.

Great night on Monday with 40 players attending our Specialist Skills Night. 💪🏉

Players took part in four focused workshops covering:
• Scrum Half
• Scrum
• Throwing
• Kicking

A fantastic opportunity to develop position-specific skills, learn from experienced coaches and continue improving their game. Thanks to everyone who attended! ⚫️🔴🔥👏

🌟 New signing - Laura Cunningham 🌟

Laura has been a key part of Hamilton ladies team, playing in the front row for the last 8yrs and gaining over 50caps as well as captaining the side. She brings a wealth of experience to our pack. Not completely new to Biggar Laura has played a couple of games for the ladies as front row cover but we are delighted to welcome her here on a full time basis!

🚨MENS PRE SEASON IS HERE 🚨

23rd June at Hartree Mill and will continue every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

We’re also delighted that Ethan Running, our Strength & Conditioning Coach, will be running pre-pre-season sessions at the club every Tuesday and Thursday to help players get a head start.

We’d love to see as many players as possible involved. Whether you’re a current player, returning after some time away, back from university, work commitments, travelling, or simply haven’t played for a while. Now is the perfect opportunity to get fit, reconnect with the squad and prepare for the season ahead.

New and returning players are all welcome. Looking forward to seeing everyone down at Hartree Mill! 💪🏉

We are over the moon to welcome home Rachel Phillips as she rejoins Biggar Rugby Club. Rachel is coming back North of the border signing a contract with Edinburgh Rugby.

Rachel played all her youth rugby here at Biggar. Then went to study at Edinburgh University where she played while studying, after Uni she joined Watsonians for a season before heading over the border to complete 2 seasons at Sale Sharks

Rachel is also currently involved with the Scotland team and we hope she will be involved in the WXV later this summer. Rachel is going to bring a wealth of experience to the ladies camp and be a massive role model for the younger ones breaking into the squad
