Biggar Cycling Club

Biggar Cycling Club The club has been set up by some enthusiastic, friendly and not so talented cyclist, with one simple goal to create a sociable, all abilities club.

We are a new club formed in March 2016 by some enthusiastic, friendly (not so talented) local cyclists. Currently we have around 20 members and are always looking to grow. We encourage new members to join us on some of our Regular Cycle Runs to ensure we are the right club for you. If you find we are the right club for you we will ask you to become a member after around three club rides. Most cycl

e runs take place around the Biggar area along the quiet country roads of the Southern Uplands and the Clyde and Tweed valleys. As the club grows we aim to go further afield in Scotland, the UK and possibly venturing into Europe.

BCC Spring Outing 2025

We are now back from an amazing weekend at the Dirty Reiver gravel event in the Kielder Forest.
Kudos to the 10 riders who completed the 130km course. Well done everyone 👏
As it has been so dry recently, it was more of a Dusty Reiver this year - as the photos show 😱
Here is a small selection of the many photos taken on the day.
The next outing is Five Ferries on 7 June.
