After another win on Friday in Bideford he is fast becoming a fans favourite with his all action style.
Beer started boxing to get fit, since then he has……
*Had 11 fights.
*Won the Western Counties Challenge Belt.
* Boxed in Ireland.
* Boxed as the main event in Bideford and on away shows.
* Won silver at the Riviera Box Cup.
* Sparred professional champions.
Not only has he achieved big in boxing, he has made life changes and is winning in life and boxing.

Last night at the Pollyfield Show, there was a very special and emotional moment as Bideford Amateur Boxing Club came together to remember our much-loved former President, Derry Brownson, who sadly passed away four weeks ago.

The club rang 10 bells in Derry’s honour — a powerful boxing tradition and a final salute to someone who meant so much to our club.

For those who knew Derry, he was far more than a former President. He was part of the fabric of Bideford Boxing Club, part of our history, and part of our boxing family. His support, friendship and presence will never be forgotten.

As the bells rang out, there was a real sense of sadness, pride and gratitude for the time we were lucky enough to have Derry as part of our club.

Some people leave a mark that never fades, and Derry will always be one of those people.

Our love and deepest thoughts remain with his family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Derry.

What a night of boxing at Pollyfield Community Centre last night, an action packed night of boxing to a huge crowd. There was some cracking boxing on show from all Bideford boxers and away clubs, with every bout being highly competitive throughout the night.
There is a lot of work go into making these shows happen, so a massive thanks to clubs that travelled far and wide, officials, Dr, MC, supporters, sponsors, club and committee members.
