🏍️ 2025 Bike4Life Ride Out Flag-Bearer Announced! 🏁

We’re thrilled to announce that seven-year-old former patient Rory Brown will be this year’s VIP flag-bearer for the Bike4Life Ride Out, proudly sponsored by The Bike Insurer.

On Sunday 20th July, Rory will wave off 3,500 incredible bikers from Meole Brace Park & Ride in Shrewsbury as they begin their convoy to the Bike4Life Festival ❤️

Rory, from Stoke-on-Trent, was treated by our aircrew in September 2024 after a motocross accident left him with a fractured femur. Thanks to the swift actions of our team, including critical care paramedic Chris Brooke, Rory received the lifesaving care he needed and has since made a brilliant recovery.

🗣️ “We are honoured that the charity has kindly offered Rory the opportunity to wave the flag at Bike4Life,” said Rory’s mum, Laura. “We can’t wait to see his reaction as 3,500 motorbikes ride past him!”

The best ending to 2024 for the three of us! ❤️
We've been for a New Year's Eve hospital appointment and Rory's femur is fully healed! 😁
His face was a picture when the surgeon asked if he was going to ride his bike again & he had to confess that he already had 🙈
We're over the moon and so proud of how well Rory has dealt with the whole recovery process! 🥳🥳🥳

It looks like the leg is fixed, full send on a snowmobile!!

Up early today to see if the leg will bend enough to get it on the foot peg before he goes to school, be back in the saddle in no time now.
