Felicity Wood Yoga

Felicity Wood Yoga I help busy people make yoga part of their everyday life so that they feel good in their body & mind

During a crazy period of working in the corporate world, running marathons and taking part in Ironman triathlons, I found yoga; a practice that totally transformed my life. I practised for several years before training and qualifying in 2014 and it was then that I left the corporate world, went travelling for six months and started teaching yoga full time. Since then, I have completed multiple adv

anced teacher trainings and have continued to develop my teaching skill and knowledge, training with world-renowned teachers in styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, Pregnancy, Postnatal and Breathing. I have a wealth of experience in teaching a range of experience levels, from complete beginners to the more advanced. Having experienced the impact that yoga has had on my own wellbeing, my mission is to make yoga feel less intimidating and more accessible to everyone, regardless of whether or not they can touch their toes, so that the benefits of yoga can be felt by all. I launched my on-demand class platform and app in 2020 and I now teach through a combination of live and on-demand classes and courses. I know that yoga works best when done regularly and consistently, so I help people to become confident and skillful at doing yoga so that they can make it part of their everyday life in a way that works for them.

The women in my world aren’t trying to become yogis.

They’re trying to feel strong, capable and at home in their body again.

They’re done with the stop-start cycle.

Done with waiting for life to calm down.

Done with feeling like they are trying to get back to something they once had.

They want challenge without chaos.
Structure without rigidity.
Progress without having to figure everything out themselves.

And perhaps most of all… they want to feel like themselves again.

And yes, I have chocolate ice cream around my mouth in the first pic xx

The goal isn’t getting to yoga occasionally. It’s finding a way to make it part of your life.

One of my members recently said

“Consistency is key and your platform allows access to yoga to fit in with anyone’s day. I’m so glad and grateful I found you”

And honestly, I think that’s it.

The people who see the biggest changes are the ones who find a rhythm they can stay consistent with day after day.

You probably don’t need another reminder that yoga is good for you.

The challenge is that knowing something helps and actually doing it consistently are two very different things.

And I think that’s where most people get stuck…

In the gap between “I know this would help me” and “I’m actually doing it”

Because when life gets busy, yoga becomes another decision. Another thing to fit in.

Which is why consistency has far less to do with motivation than people realise.

It’s about making it easier to press play.

If you know yoga is what you need, FWY is the way to make sure you’ll actually do it.

Most people who practise with me don’t care about making fancy yoga shapes.

They care about feeling good in their body while they live their life.

And honestly, I think that’s a much better reason to practice.

Stronger, more confident, more trust in your body.

Spend enough time around the right kind of yoga and your beliefs around what you’re capable of start to shift.

Most women coming back to yoga after a break start with my Yoga for Beginners programme or my 30-day Power & Ease programme. And the rest flows from there.

Sometimes the yoga that changes your life doesn’t look very exciting while you’re doing it.

Until you realise your body lets you fully enjoy the things that matter to you because of it.

A lot of women spend years dipping in and out of yoga without ever learning it in a way that builds.

Then one day they realise they want a practice that supports the life and the body they have now.

And one class a week when the diary allows isn’t enough anymore. They want something they can actually build from.

A clear path back to feeling strong, capable, calm and connected to themselves again.

Most people don’t struggle with yoga because they lack motivation.

They struggle because every practice starts with “What should I do today?”

And when movement feels random, progress feels invisible.

That’s why structure changes everything.

“A challenging week and very rewarding”

One of my members wrote that in our community yesterday and honestly I think that’s the sweet spot most midlife women are craving from movement now.

Not punishing. Not passive.

Strong enough that you feel alive in your body again, without feeling depleted afterwards.

That’s the whole energy behind my classes.

And I’m grateful for all the incredible women who are moving with me.
