This week, Anki visited the Heathcroft Farm to check some of Harry and Sienna's saddles. Capturing this gorgeous shot of LT Holst Freda's saddle😍
For those of you who missed the results from the SJ World Championships - Harry Charles and Freda pulled off a seemingly impossible feat and achieved 2 Bronze medals.
Harry gave an incredibly heartfelt interview with ClipMyHorse.TV after his first day of jumping in Aachen, saying “I love this place, it just isn’t loving me back.”
But Harry and Freda produced the most incredible comeback when it mattered most, jumping a fantastic double clear to help Team GB secure a bronze medal.
After day two, Harry was lying in 59th place individually. He knew there was a huge challenge ahead but could never have imagined what was to come. The plan was simply to jump clear with the mantra, “not much to lose today, but a lot to gain”. Which is exactly what happened.
The pair jumped two immaculate clear rounds on the final day to make the highest-ranking climb in the last 8 World Championships, rising from 59th to finish in bronze medal position.
On top of this incredible achievement, it was also Great Britain’s first individual medal in Showjumping at a World Championships for 36 years, since John Whitaker won with Milton in Stockholm in 1990.
Harry has shown the world through many interviews this week that he is not only an incredible rider, but also a true horseman and sportsman. We are so proud to sponsor Harry and the Charles family.
Harry rides in a deep seat 17.5” forward-cut monoflap Butet saddle. Despite his father, Peter, having always ridden in Doublee jump saddles, Harry discovered early on that he preferred the close contact feel of a monoflap, and this has been his saddle of choice since jumping ponies.
