We are pleased to announce that the registrations for the Motorsport UK British Car Trial Championship are now OPEN!

The Championship now has a dedicated web page where you can see this year’s regulations, a link to register (entry fee unchanged at £20) and of course the 2025 Calendar! We invite you to get your entry in as soon as possible to allow the Championship decals to be distributed ahead of the opening round!

Motorsport UK send our thanks to all organising Clubs who have accepted the Championship at their events and we are thoroughly looking forward to the season ahead!

We are pleased to share the results from the Ernest Owen Memorial Car Trial that formed the opening round of the 2024 Motorsport UK British Car Trial Championship. Thank you to everyone who came out to organise, officiate, and compete in this event!

Upon the completion of Owen Motor Club’s event, please see below the results from the event, as well as the current Championship Standings!

The next round will be hosted by Falcon Motor Club on the 21st of April! Motorsport UK send our continued gratitude to Falcon Motor Club for organising the Ivinghoe Spring Trial and wish everyone involved the best for a safe and successful event!

We are pleased to issue the regulations for the 2024 Motorsport UK British Car Trial Championship, as well as the registration form for contenders!

We would like to extend our thanks to Nicky Moffitt and Mike Harris for continuing their roles as the Championship Steward and Eligibility Scrutineer respectively.

Furthermore, we’d like to take this moment to express our gratitude to Barrie Parker for his service as the Championship Liaison Officer in previous years. Barrie has since retired from this role, and we kindly ask that any person who may be willing to fill this position gets in touch with us during the registration process. Attached are the final results and class awards for the 2023 British Car Trial Championship following Wolverhampton & South Staffs Car Club’s Gaby Mohr Trial held on 3 September 2023.

Huge congratulations to Tim Dovey on his maiden Championship win – you wouldn’t believe this year was his first British Championship! 😲😎 (You can put the toilet roll away now Tim 😉 😂). Congratulations also to our Class Winners …. Trevor Moffatt, Nigal Jones, John Charles and Charlie Dovey 😊

We take this opportunity to thank you all for your help with this Championship, be it an organising round, competing, marshalling, the list goes on. Our special thanks go to Barrie Parker. Since 2017 he has been helping tirelessly with the points and gathering in championship registrations, the list goes on. Barrie, you will be missed as the Championship’s Liaison Officer, but it will be good to see you still competing on the hills 😊

The Gaby Mohr event is due to run on the new date of the 3rd September near Bridgenorth in the west midlands.
Entries are on the low side at the moment so please enter soon if you have any plans on doing so.

Barrie Parker has kindly sent in the Provisional Overall and Class Awards following both the Airedale & Pennine Trial and Ilkley & District Motor Club’s Filtrate Trial.

The next rounds will be the Welsh double-header on 5 & 6 August (North Wales Car Club and Bala & District Motor Club) – I do hope the weather will be kinder for all concerned 😮
