Breeze Network Bicester, Banbury & Buckingham

After a brief shower this morning, the sun came out just in time for our ride.

We started from Bicester, and cycled out to Ambrosden, Arncott, Murcott, Fencott and Merton, before we stopped at Caroline's cafe for a drink and snack. My Fried egg roll was soooo yummy, I was too busy eating and forgotten to take our group pic!

It was fantastic seeing the ladies again, and enjoying the lovely weather.

The next Bicester Breeze ride will be on Sunday 4 Oct, route tbc. Will post more info once it is available - hope to see you then!

The next Breeze ride is on this Sunday (6 Sep) - meeting at FLTR coffee shop at 10am. We are going to cycle through the villages of Ambrosden, Arncott, Murcott, Merton and back to Bicester.

Lovely day out cycling with these lovely ladies this morning. We chatted all the way to Twyford for a cuppa, then back towards Bicester via cycle lanes.

Saw 3 post box toppers, discovered a new book swapping corner, an ebike wire/battery malfunction, and a chain mechanical - all part of our fun morning.

The weather is forecasted to be cooler next week, just perfect for a little cycle, a natter and some coffee therapy!

The weather is looking fabulous so Buckingham Breeze are heading to Westbury this Friday.

Starting from Swan pool at 9:30am, we will complete a 20 mile loop cycling through the Buckinghamshire countryside.

These rides are great for anyone looking to build confidence riding on their bike and it’s great for socialising and making friends too!

So nice to see old and new friends joining the Bicester Breeze ride today.

Being a hot day, we stopped for drinks a bit more frequently then normal, which gave us opportunities to attempt a 0.5 selfie! Definitely needs more work on the technique...

Lots of chatting along the way, a brief stop for slight bike adjustments, followed by a coffee at the newly opened Green Farm coffee shop.

Lovely day for a cycle and 2 ladies joined me today to tackle a couple of hills courtesy of HS2 (🤣) and deftly avoided potholes on their way to Twyford from Buckingham. I’m hoping the closed roads in the area will mean some lovely fresh tarmac to cycle on soon! ☺️🤞

We had a lovely chatty stop at Twyford community cafe, catching up after recent holidays and family events. Then it was back on our bikes to Buckingham. Great riding from everyone! Well done! ☺️👏👏🚴🏻‍♀️🚴🏻‍♀️🚴🏻‍♀️

What a glorious day for a morning ride! We cycled to one of our favourites - Croughton Tea Room - where we stopped for drinks and cake (ice cream and coffee for me). Emma, Susan and I chatted all sorts - podcasts, restaurants, birthday presents, and parkrun planning amongst others!

Our next ride will be starting from Bicester on a Sunday morning - details tbc. Will post info on here in a few days' time. Hope you are free to join us.

A lovely sunny Sunday morning’s ride for Buckingham Breeze. 2 ladies joined me on a 17 mile loop from Buckingham. We stopped to admire the poppy fields before having refreshments at The Coffee Stop in Deanshanger. Great riding from both of them!
