Last night was a wonderful evening. Why? Because this outstanding young man, Braydon Robus, was awarded his competitive 1st Dan black belt. A fantastic achievement for an incredible lad who has overcome so much and has been so active on the adaptive circuit. He has been fighting competitions and competing in kata internationally for several years now, picking up an absolute sack load of medals 🔥
Braydon picked up the last of his 100 points at a European competition in Kortrijk, Belgium a few weeks ago, completing yet another milestone achievement. 💪🏼
His belt was personally awarded by Mick Gould, a local judo legend who, along with his brother, the late and great Dave Gould, have been a great inspiration and source of support to Braydon over the years. A beautiful moment also attended by Sussex squad coach James Draper, who led the technical portion of the session, and Braydon’s karate coach John Wilson. Thank you all for coming down to share in Braydon’s achievement.
