Bexhill Sailing Club is running its RYA Level 1 & Level 2 Dinghy Sailing Course starting 30th May 2026, designed for complete beginners and those wanting to build confidence on the water.
You’ll learn in a friendly, relaxed club environment with RYA qualified instructors, gaining the skills to sail safely and independently while having plenty of fun along the way.
What you’ll learn:
⚓ How to rig and launch a dinghy
⚓ Steering and sailing in all directions
⚓ Tacking and gybing
⚓ Capsize awareness and recovery
⚓ Basic ropework and boat handling
⚓ Sailing safely with others
Who is it for?
✔ Anyone aged 18+
✔ Complete beginners (no experience needed)
✔ Anyone looking for a fun, active outdoor hobby
What’s included:
✨ RYA Level 1 & 2 tuition with qualified instructors
✨ RYA handbook, logbook & certificates
✨ 1 year full membership of Bexhill Sailing Club
✨ Free use of club boats in your 1st year (and novice access in year 2)
✨ All buoyancy aids and training equipment during the course
