๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’ Defeat in the FA cup ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’

Yesterday the cherries put on a phenomenal performance against the established Dinnington Ladies.

The cherries displayed some fantastic football across the full back and only conceded due to two small errors.

The game ended 2-2 and Dinnington Ladies won on a very tense penalty shootout ๐Ÿ‘Œ

๐Ÿฅ‡ - MOTM goes to Ruby who had a brilliant game between the sticks and saving some of the pens!

๐Ÿซ - MARE is Chloe L for missing 2 absolute sitters ๐Ÿฅฒ

The ladies have a well earned break now before the season commences on the 13th of September.

Players player - Millie W, an unreal season, her first season as a Cherry, sheโ€™s been consistent week on week, a nightmare for other teams to defender against and the speediest person ever!

Golden boot - Also Millie W ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Managers player - Harley, incredible season on the wing, fights for everything, brings all the energy both on and off the pitch!

MVP - Katie B, provides so much to the Cherries off the pitch, helps us with all the โ€˜small stuffโ€™ that helps the team run. We couldnโ€™t do a lot without you!

Second place. In our SECOND season together. First year in Division One!

What a journey. Finishing 2nd in only our second season together and our first in Division One. This is something to be incredibly proud of. Competing against teams whoโ€™ve been together for years, this group has shown unbelievable commitment, growth, and resilience from start to finish.

Reaching the final was the perfect reflection of the hard work put in all season. While it didnโ€™t end exactly how we wanted, it doesnโ€™t take away from whatโ€™s been a huge step forward for us as a team.

A few weeks off for the Cherries, awards night & then straight into pre season ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป
