This weekend I completed a sportive challenge, and it reminded me why having something to work towards can be so powerful. 🚴♂️
So many people start their fitness journey focused on losing weight or “toning up”, but often the biggest rewards come from achieving something you once thought you couldn’t do.
Maybe that’s your first full push-up, running 5k without stopping, lifting a certain weight, or simply being consistent with exercise for a month.
In my experience, challenges give my clients purpose, confidence and a sense of achievement that scales on the bathroom never can.
Your challenge doesn’t have to be huge! Small wins build momentum, and momentum creates lasting results.
Having support helps too. Whether it’s a friend, training partner or coach, accountability can make all the difference to keep you going.
So, instead of focusing only on what you want to lose, think about what you want to achieve.
