1 day, 2 trips, 2 outfits 🤣 for 2 dressage tests and im over the moon with the whole day! 🎉
Scoring the exact same score to the .37 of percent 🤣 can’t say I’m not consistent 🤣
Remingtons only second test so proud 😊
And don’t let the boring people tell you other wise “there is always time for an outfit change” that’s all part of the fun 🤩

A beautiful but sad memory pop up of my sweet promise
42 years old when I lost her the first year we came to wales 4 year ago
Right up until days before we exchanged and bought this farm myself and my West Sussex vet made a decision whether it was the right idea to bring her all this way. Her heart and soul as strong a lion I went for it!
Traveled over night nursing my box along the whole way here with one of my other girls by her side she made it! And spent a wonderful year here
A little feral mare I took in when she was in her mid twenties unhandled and as wild as they come 🤣
Came to me in an horrendous state and that is putting it lightly!
Probably had had foals every year of her life the strength of this mare was something else!
Together we navigated putting headcollers and rugs on having a bath doing her feet and all the things that as an old lady she was having to learn like a youngster!
I named her promise as like with all the souls that come to me I promised her she would stay with me for however long she had left which happened to be another 15 plus years!!!
Like they all are a special soul I’m was very lucky to have her in my life 🦄

A little late on my show report from last weekend!!
Henry’s (star of Emerald) second dressage out this year after being grounded due to the equine flu issue in our area for all of May
The Venue was super vigilant which made me feel comfortable about taking the horses back out again checking passports and parking us with huge gaps between us
We managed some improved scores from our last trip so was super happy about that! Henry and I have been working very hard to improve ourselves so bagging a first place score will keep us focused to work towards the next one 🦄🤠💪

It’s been such a positive week 🦄🦄 finally the rain has lifted spring has sprung and it’s become easier to get off the yard and start to enjoy all the hard work that’s been put in 🤠
I’m so so so proud of these boys this week Reminiscents first ever dressage today and Star of emeralds first dressage on Wednesday since 2024
I went out with the idea to just float through the test with no pressure on the boys at all holding back a little and adding no pressure whatsoever
It’s wasn’t about the marks but about a relaxed positive experience and I really felt the boys thriving from this approach
I wanted to just stay soft and relaxed not trying to fight for scores that firstly are not necessary for now as in the long run I will have mentally happy horses and then score improvement is the easier part and secondly to set the standards I’m looking for which are enjoyable trips out with happy horses
I really feel I achieved this at both shows
Both boys were so positive and really wanted to do the task at hand it was a lovely feeling to share such an enjoyable partnership with them no stress no tension just happy horses and a very proud, humbled and a totally besotted passenger that I am ☺️🦄🦄

Only right to have another appreciation post for my other not long backed 5 year old flamenco 💃!!
She has earned herself multiple gold stars this week for achieving allot of firsts! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I started her a few months before Gaabriella last summer so I wasn’t starting the backing process at the same time with them both so they had my undivided attention
She has such a character an a real mummy’s girl
The video totally captures her personality as like yesterdays video I asked for a stop command off my voice after a lovely ride out however Flame says I’m not walking on until you give me that treat I know is in your pocket! 🤣
Such a gorgeous pair of young ladies I’m very lucky to have them in my life 🦄🦄

Miss Gaabriella appreciation post! 🦄🤠
Having only recently back this girl and now with the better weather I’m able to start moving forward with her training I’m just blown away with her!
What a feeling i get already, very special young lady ⭐️
