A massive thank you to Hector Musonza and Colin Murray’s family for hosting our annual Caribbean Night.

Rumour has it Hector was spotted propping up the bar from 1pm, so exactly how much cooking he contributed remains under investigation…

While Bob Marley himself couldn’t make it, three Betley legends turned up looking convincing enough to have us all doing a double take.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it another fantastic evening.

We turn our attention to the u15s season and they had a great season some good positive performances from everyone that played, all chipping in with runs and wickets.. on another day maybe would of won the cup so well done everyone for you efforts this season. 👏🏻👏🏻

Again without coaches it wouldn’t be possible so a big shout out to Rich for coaching the kids and also being head of Junior Cricket these aren’t easy jobs.. from everyone at the club thanks for your work Rich much appreciated 👏🏻👏🏻 future is Bright for Betley CC 💚💛

Today we take a look at the u13s another good season by our juniors finishing 6th in the league, winning 2 losing 4 and drawing 5 games. Some really good stand out performances and a lot to carry on to next year 👏🏻

Without the coaches turning up and giving their time it wouldn’t be possible so big thanks to Charlie 👏🏻

And not to forget Lauren and the ladies in the kitchen for keeping us all fed on a Sunday morning really appreciated by all 👏🏻😊

On Monday Night we welcomed Kim and Lisa from Welcome Break to Betley CC who have very kindly given us a cheque for us to continue with our improvements this will help fund club house renovation in the winter ready for the 2027 season. As always Donations and Grants are our biggest source of income that we invest straight back into Building a better Cricket Club for the future. Today we take a look at the u11s Hardball season playing in a strong league with some good teams Betley finished 4th winning 5 games and losing 6.. This group of lads have come on leaps and bounds and there’s been some very good highlights from the season, well done to everyone taking part you all did your bit in different games 👏🏻👏🏻

Also as always without the coaches giving up their time and effort it wouldn’t be possible so big thanks to John and Seb for your work 👏🏻👏🏻
