Keeping accountable

If you’re training, on fat loss, or looking to maybe add some muscle

One tip I would recommend

Take pics every few weeks

For fat loss sometimes the scales won’t move - lots of reasons for this

If your clothes are getting looser, inches are coming off your waist , chest etc.

You’re making progress 😉

Compare first pics in 6 months from now

And hopefully you’ll appreciate how much things have changed and improved

I’m currently going through a small fat loss stage , abs up and less belly fat - this is always the last to go , we all have our problem areas

6 weeks to go then a slow, steady lean bulk , 6-9 months

Moving quite well now , feeling sharper , and it’s helping with recruitment too

At 47 I know how to keep in decent shape , with sensible choices and no extremes ( believe me I’ve done those)

Now?

It’s balance? If I’ve got porky , and did last holiday, I’ll tighten up on my nutrition and cardio

Sounds simple , and it is !

Just need to keep adherence

Welcome to Aruba!

A few things that we’re doing out here to stay on track with both nutrition and fitness

We’re staying in an Airbnb

Hotels currently are seven bags plus for a week and half board!

We’ve gone to superfoods, one of the go to places for fresh meat and produce

The quality is fantastic, but pricey

Worth it though

We will do this for most of the week

Meals are going something like this

Breakfast-4 boiled eggs, 1/2 avacado, two toast

Lunch - 2 skewers , beef or chicken, salad

Dinner -2-3 skewers , as above , salad , carbs

Training this morning
Small circuits
Press ups
Resistance band - shoulders , lat raise or press
Bicep curl
Tricep pulldowns or bench dips

Lost count of sets , was about an hour

Tomorrow we’ll join Bodyzone Fitness Club Aruba , the best gym I know of in Aruba

Training while away might not be for everyone but it’s something we really enjoy

It keeps my daily habits and structure , and head straight
