We provide courses and guiding in rock climbing, scrambling, mountain walking, navigation, winter skills and winter mountaineering. Snowdonia Walking and Climbing offers a professional guiding and instruction service for mountain walking, scrambling, rock climbing and snow and ice climbing. Join us for a day of grade 2/3 scrambling, Friday 25 September. You’ll get to see how we can use a rope and climbing equipment, get advice on climbing techniques and equipment. Plus we’ll do some classic routes.
£125 (equipment provided if needed).

There was some sunshine in the Park today… fair bit of rain too. Dry enough for some climbing and abseiling at Craig Y Tonnau for the Plas Y Brenin Rock Climbing Improver course.
What’s going on in the pic? So here they are climbing a route with a bottom rope but also trailing another rope to practice placing gear on the lead and clipping the rope.

I was out delivering a bespoke rock climbing day for Plas Y Brenin
at Milestone Buttress yesterday with this dynamic duo. A fine day for a first time climbing multi pitch trad routes. We did Pulpit Route and Rowan Route with some abseiling in between to get down. Lovely day

Bit of a wet Bank Holiday weekend but nothing too crazy. Couple of trips up the North Ridge for us - me first on Saturday with Gareth, nice to have it so quiet. Kelly KDAdventures Outdoor Skills was out with Kelcy and family yesterday for a similarly wet day out - but a fun day out all the same . Good work all and thanks Kelly.
