Berwick Darts Academy Berwick Darts Academy takes place at the Northern view, we offer kids an opportunity to play darts. Supported by Northern View and Rise.

We are JDC affiliated as well as having 3 qualified Pdpa coaches. We are part of the Target Darts Elite 1 programme.

We got through the mini leagues tonight.
Well done to our winners 👏

Premier - Dylan McCleary 🏆
Championship - Warren Cuthbert 🏆
League one - Connor Cessford 🏆
League two - Jenson Antcliff 🏆

Got through a some one 2 one's tonight with, Ashton, Harry and Aiden.

Big thank to Paul Beresford for helping out tonight 🙌

Thanks also to Steve who put on some fun drills and activities for the younger players in the session.

Next and final session of the season will take place on Wednesday 1st July, with our presentation night on Wednesday 15th July.

Over 12's tonight in their penultimate session of the season.

Mini league games tonight, as well as some players taking part in some fun drills and activities 🎯

I'm going to try and get through some one 2 one's tonight, if this is something you feel you need, let me know as we are offering some during the summer holidays 🌞

If you can't attend tonight and if you haven't already told me, then please let me know asap.

Both groups tonight were excellent, in sportsmanship 🫂 eagerness and ability. All the coaches were so impressed we all commented how good it was 🤩
We started with a warm up hitting a target of a sheet of paper. After every round the paper was folded in half. The best group was Kaya, Keaton, Hayden & Ollie G getting to a piece of paper the size of a stamp !!! 📃

Next was various versions of grand prix 🏎 which was a game involving one team hitting white numbers ⚪️ the other black numbers ⚫️ in a race to complete the set

Jamie took several players for a bit of individual coaching, which went down well with the kids great attitude 🫡

The sessions were finished with a couple of games of pairs games 301/501.
Picking players of the week for both sessions was very nearly impossible but Eva Blackie and Ollie Cromarty took the trophies home tonight 🏆

Fantastic sessions and look forward to the next 🎯 🎯 🎯

Dont forget the presentation night on WEDNESDAY 15th July, a great night is being planned 🤐

So Today, Dylan McCleary & Kaleb Bloomfield took part in a pairs competition down at First4Darts & home of Stakeford Darts Academy in Ashington.

A brilliant performance from our boys getting all the way to the final today 👏
Unfortunately it wasn't to be, but take nothing away from the way they performed throughout the day 🥈

They came through some tough matches 💪

Dylan hitting 2x 180's 🎯
The quarter final was tied at 3-3 before Kaleb checked out 100 to get the win! 😎

Once again, well done to Dylan and Kaleb today, and hope to see you in more competitions soon 🏆

🎯 Volunteers Needed to Help Run Our Darts Academy 🎯

We’re looking for an enthusiastic adult to help out with darts sessions at our darts academy.

Whether you’re an experienced player, love the game, or just want to help out, we would love to hear from you.

Roles can include:
• Helping during academy sessions
• Supporting young and new players
• Assisting with setup and organisation

We run every fortnight, with under 12's on a Tuesday and over 12's on the Wednesday (same week)
All sessions take place at the Northern View

No matter your experience level, your support would make a huge difference.

Requirements: DBS Check (we would put you through this)

There would also be opportunities to do the PDPA coaching course if desired.

BDA presentation night 2025/26 season 🏆

Reminder that our presentation night is on Wednesday 15th July at the Northern View and it's for every player in our academy (both age groups)
Separate awards for under & over 12's.
You won't want to miss it 😉

Over 12's returned to night.

We welcomed newcomer Enrico Bevevino to the academy who has got off to a great start, showing he is keen and willing to learn.
Michael & Jamie took 2 groups through into the function tonight to work on different aspects of their games.

In the league games, the standard has went through the roof with Dylan McCleary averaging 73 and hitting a 180, while Aiden Wood also hit a 180, a 17 dart leg, a 75 average and a massive 164 checkout!!! 👏
Then in the next leg, missed the bullseye to check it out again!!!
Unreal darts 👏

Steve was doing some more rounds of the naughts & crosses, doubles edition. Dylan hitting 3 doubles in one throw to win a round but it wasn't enough to topple Toby Trotter who was on fire 🔥

We have 2 sessions left before our presentation night on the 15th July.

Look forward to seeing you all in two weeks time 🎯 🎯 🎯
