Hi everyone, thank you so much to everyone who shared my previous post, we’ve had some great climbing club sessions so far this year! These sessions are running on a Thursday evening at Newburn Activity Centre, with a 6-7pm session aimed at those aged 8-12, and a 7-8pm session for those aged 13-17, though this can be flexible for groups of friend or siblings.

Hi everyone, after the great response on my previous posts I’m now getting the climbing club sessions organised for this year. Sessions will run on Thursday evenings at Newburn Leisure Centre, where we will have private use of the whole climbing wall for the hour long sessions. The club is open to anyone, with the first hour for those aged 8 to 12 years, the second hour 13 to 16 years. This can be flexible for friend groups/siblings. Space is limited, so if you think you’ve got a child who’s ready for a new challenge and learn useful climbing & rope skills , please fill in the form on my website below and I will contact you with further information.

I also offer training and coaching to adults at all levels, would anyone be interested in a weekly adult club? New year…new sport!🧗‍♀️

Had a great time last weekend volunteering at the Youth Meet. Thanks to all the instructors and volunteers for making it possible, and especially Chris for organising everything!

A few photos from a recent trip to Whickham Thorns in Gateshead. This man-made boulder is completely free to use and makes a great transition into the world of outdoor bouldering. If you’d like to give it a go with professional instruction and bouldering pads provided then get in touch!
