Paul Stevens Personal Training

Paul Stevens Personal Training Why ME? My training makes people feel fresh, alive and reborn! I want you to look, feel and live better. My training is about investing in yourself.

My focus as a Personal Trainer is to provide fitness in the fresh air for people who have grown tired of the gym scene; those who 'dislike' exercise and are looking for something new and exciting in the beautiful locations in and around Berkhamsted. I work differently to most Personal Trainers, I specialise in outdoor training and providing a fitness service for the huge amount of people who can’t

stand monotonous gym routines. My ethos is all about turning over a new leaf, gaining the benefits from outdoor training and being out in the fresh air. That’s not to say that you have to go outdoors to benefit from my approach. I work with clients in their homes and hold a number of regular classes. Each training session has a purpose based on my clients’ needs, plus I like to design my exercises around ‘functional movements’. My clients work in all planes of motion, giving them improved flexibility and enabling them to be strong in the right places. Nutrition is extremely important to me and is all part of the training. I don’t particularly agree with diets or fads as it should not be a chore, although I do agree with the simple term of ‘You are what you eat’. All my clients get nutrition advice and ideas on how to enjoy healthy eating. The thought of not having enough energy, stamina or being too unfit to play with the kids, clean out the garage, do the gardening or spend a day out on my feet is unbearable. Busy lifestyles can create excuses not to exercise, so I make my sessions enjoyable whilst challenging and I will fit in with your daily routine allowing you to train when it suits you. People spend so much money on things such as cars, clothes, shoes, ci******es and alcohol, then neglect their bodies and forget that it’s the one thing we are all stuck with our whole lives. You can buy a new car, get it fixed in the garage but unfortunately it’s not that simple when it comes to YOUR BODY! So why abuse it? Many Personal Trainers repeat the same sessions for their clients in a gym, making it monotonous and uninspiring. My qualifications, experience in coaching and overall approach allows me to stand out from the crowd and produce original, challenging sessions time and time again, each tailored to the needs and level of each individual. Your body will begin to crave training rather than make excuses not to! Get in touch today to begin achieving your goals

The challenge to get past Day 1s marker after running straight along the same road for 15 minutes.
I got 100 metres further today.
I felt better, albeit very icy paths but got around 100m further and ran at a much better pace .
Still some way to go but but by bit is the key…

I use this phrase lots of times when I need a kick up the bum. It really helped me when I was going through a bit of a patch of low motivation and recovering from my ankle injury.
Very simple, get up, get out and do something. In January I am going to spend a minimum of 30 minutes per day doing some form of exercise/wellness.
I’ve put on 3kgs since March last year so I need to loose some chunk!
Fancy joining me?
