Heavy weekend means you have to be REALLY “good” this week right?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So you’re starting the week off on a bit of a downer already because you’ve got to limit what you eat?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No no no, the cycle does NOT need to go round again ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here are 5 Tips on how to not have alcohol set your body shape goals back: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Yep, it’s true, you CAN still achieve the body shape you want and drink alocohol!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- opt for clear spirits or Prosecco - these are your lowest calorie options⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Have zero cal/ slimline of your soft drinks/ tonic - even fruit juices are high in cals⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- If you’re a drunk snacker, have this meal planned in to your calories/ take the calories off the following week/ make a healthy but delicious snack rather than the kebab shop⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

7 tips to reduce travel disrupting your body shape goals ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Travelling throws us into very uncertain eating habits, regardless of whether it’s flying abroad or getting a car/train/ bus across the country ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When the next meal is, what you’ll be eating.. it’s often last minute and not entirely in your control⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It is easy to be like “oh f**k it” but there ARE ways to reduce travel disrupting your goals⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Prioritise protein at every meal/ snack- protein fills you up more⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Do not be afraid to ask to take out / swap some ingredients when ordering food⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Plan ahead by taking snacks - opt for less additives, I usually have some fruit or nut bars (the raw kind) as when you’re hungry you’ll more likely reach for the higher cal/ less nutritious snacks when you next see food⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Where possible get your steps in - eg walking round the airport or at the petrol station ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
5. Drink plenty of water - keeping hydrated is important always but will ensure you’re not snacking when you’re actually just thirsty⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
6. If possible get an aisle seat as it’s easier (don’t need to keep asking someone to get up) to do some laps of the plane/ train and squats in the loo (yep this is what I do lol)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
7. Balance out the week if it has ended up very calorific - nothing is ever ruined, it’s just about balancing it out⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your goals won’t be like oh you’re travelling it doesn’t count.. the easiest way to get and maintain your goals is to understand nutrition and the principles of fat loss and gain ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That way, it’s just a second thought like it is for me now⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
