GLOUCESTERSHIRE Over 70s made it four from four with a tremendous nine-wicket away victory against Dorset who were restricted to 153-7 after winning the toss.
The home side were soon on the back foot at 3-2 and never recovered as Andy Howe (2-29 from seven), Geoff Eaves (1-16 from eight), Andy Kear (1-19 from eight) and Mike Pearson (1-27 from seven) all kept the pressure on.
Opener Bill Lawrence then quickly extinguished any Devon hopes with a blistering 83 from 65 (18 fours) as Gloucestershire raced to their target in les than 24 overs.
Gloucestershire Over 50s succumbed by 94 runs at home to Wales at Westbury-on-Severn Cricket Club, skipper Richard Trotman top scoring on 58.
Wales went on to complete a hat-trick of victories, trumping the 2nds by 59 runs at Whitchurch Cricketclub , and edging the 3rds by seven wickets at Rockhampton Cricket Club despite opener Chris McCormack’s 108 from 121 (11 fours).
And Gloucestershire Over 50s 4ths were unable to prevent a clean sweep of defeats despite piling up 324-5 from their 45 away to Somerset.
Openers Ian Robson (96) and Dan Spence (73) found form in a huge total, but the home side secured a two-wicket triumph chasing a reduced target of 298 from 40, Steve Powell grabbing 3-47.
Gloucestershire Over 60s 2nds, meanwhile, romped in by nine wickets at home to Cornwall at Long Ashton Cricket Club.
The visitors struggled to 132-7 from 37 overs after winning the toss, Dennis Mullings finishing with fine figures of 4-21 from eight before Neil Wilson (48) and Steve Witcomb (44) shared an unbroken stand of 71 to bank the points.
The 60s 3rds went down by two wickets at home to Warwickshire at Ruardean Hill Cricket Club despite the considerable efforts of Martin Hopkins who top scored on 46 and followed up with a haul of 4-29 from eight.

Rain ruined this week's fixtures but three games managed to beat the weather ... and resulted in three wins for Gloucestershire Seniors Cricket!

GLOUCESTERSHIRE’S Senior Women’s squad opened their 2026 campaign with a commanding nine wicket home win at Oldlands Cricket Club over Wiltshire that featured two outstanding individual performances.
Kelly Armfield finished with memorable figures of 6-15 from seven as Wiltshire were bowled out for 110 in 35 overs after losing the toss, Lucy Blackwell weighing in with 2-19 from six.
And Maria Fowler then took charge of the chase with an unbeaten 52 off 66 (six fours), sharing an opening stand of 80 with Emma Phillips (30), as the victory was sealed in the 23rd over.
Gloucestershire Over 70s, meanwhile, made it three from three thanks to a seven wicket triumph away to Cornwall who were dismissed for exactly 100 after losing the toss.
Andy Kear bagged 3-21 from nine with Graham Clarke (2-4 from two), Geoff Eaves (2-11 from seven) and Mike Pearson (2-26 from nine) all keeping the pressure on.
The visitors had to work hard for the spoils, opener John Evans unbeaten on 42 from 103 as the points were banked in the 38th over.
Because of the wet weather, play was possible in only one other game with Gloucestershire Over 50 3rds (pictured) romping to a ten wicket success away to Warwickshire who were rumbled for just 73.
Gareth Price finished with 3-9 from 4.3 overs while there were two wickets for Alex Hope and David Lane.
Stephen Davies (48) and Stuart Davenport (28) then needed less than 11 overs to get their side over the line.
